the next few day, i've been thinking matbe I sould take her, to see kaylee family, I don't know.

A week later, I had a day off, i was taking Ali to see Kaylee family. i didn't like
what I was about to do but Kaylee would want it. I knocked on the door.

"Daddy, what are we doing here?"

"you'll fine out"

Then the door opened

"Oh, Sidney"

"Hello, Mrs.Mitchell"

"its a surprise to see you, come on in."

"thank you" I said, we walked into the living room. i put Ali down and she hugged
my leg.

"Sidney" her Dad said getting up.

"Mr. Mitchell"

"i'm here, to talk to you two, but I can I talk to you alone first"

"yes" her mom said

"sweetie" I said to Ali picking her up. "stay right here, i'll be right back."

"i'll be right back." I sat her on the couch.

Then me, her mom, and dad walked to the kitchen.

"Its really shocking to see you two here."

"I saw you at the store, and you were staring at her, and I know Kaylee would want

you to see her."

"it took you enough."

"whats that supposed to mean?"
"it means what I said it took you long enough."

I have a career, and rising her.

"there your thinking of yourself."

"i'm not thinking of myself." i said rasing my voice,

"yeah, right after what you did, you think you would bring our grandduaghter around."

"you blame me for Kaylee death"

"yes" her father said

"how can you blame me for that?"

"you were the one driving to car."

"you think i wanted that to happen." I yelled "there isn't a dday that goes by thgat
I don't wish it was me."

"If you knew what was best for Alison, you would have brought her to see her family.

"mom. dad. who the little girl in the living room." kaylee brother said.

"Sidney" he said "wait is that Alison in there?"

"yeah, and we were hust leaveing"

"Sidney, we're just you should have brought her around eariser." I turned around and

Ali was standing right behind me.

"Ali, come on, sweetie" I picked her up, and started walking out of the house. i
know I should have never came here.

"Sidney" her brother yelled, I kept walking. I got outside, went to the car.

"Sid"

I put Ali in her seat.

"daddy"

"hold on., sweetie"

"Sid man" I shut the door.

"what?" i asked

"I don't know what my parents said to you but I think its good. that you brough her
here."

I nodded

"and it looks like your doing a good job."

"thank you, we gotto get going."

"okay, maybe someday she'll know who I am."

"maybe" I said, and he turned around abd walked in the house. i got into the car. i
sat there I hit the steering wheel.

"Damn it." I yelled, then I looked in the reaview nirror and I seen Ali with this
scared look on her face.

"i'm sorry, baby girl."

she did a light nod.

The next few weeks went by. I went out to get the mail. Ali was up stairs playing. I
open the mail and came to the next letter, I read it and I counldn't believe it. Was
it even possible. I thought. I called my mom.

"hello"

"mom" i said "I.....I"

"whats wrong?"

"is it possible for someone to fight for custody for a kid thats not theirs."

"well, I think if there family that can, why?"

"Kaylee parents are fight for custody for Ali."

"what?"

"yeah"

"mom, what am I going to do?"

"I can't believe them, what made them do this."

I told her what happend when, I took Ali to see them.

"mom. i can't lose her."

"your not , call your lawyer and i'm going to get a plane down there."

"i'm coming down there, does it have a crout date."

"daddy" ali said coming down the stairs.
