Chapter 21

The next morning, I woke up and went downstairs. nanny was in the kitchen.

"mmm....Coffee" i said "good morning Nanny"

"good morning, and Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas" i sat down , at the table with her.

"how you doing?"

"huh?"

"how you doing, with everything since Kaylee"

"oh Nanny, everything good, i thought this christmas would be a lot harder without her."

"and Ali?"

"she good, last night i took her to Kayle grave."

"how that go?"

"it went good."

"she a lot like her mother."

"oh yeah, she is." I laughed. "I wonder how long itys gonna take her to wake up." as
I said that mom, and dad came downstairs.

a few mintuers later

"Daddy" i heard Ali yell.

"here we go" i said getting up and going to the bottom of the steps

Ali came downstairs

"Daddy, santa came"

"i know, sweetie."

"can we open up present?"

"yeah," she went into the living room. I went after her. she grabbed a present.

"drop it" i laughed "wait for everything" sfter everybody came in she opened her
presents. we gave mom, dad, taylor, and nanny there present, they open them.

"here daddy" ali said handing me a box.

"whats this?"

"your present"

I opened it, It was a brand new dishing pole.

"wow, thanks baby girl,"

"your welcome daddy" i hugged her.

"and i have one you" I picked her up and pput her on my knee, adn handed her a
little box. she opened it. i was a heart shaped lockit.

"what is it?"

"its a lockit." i said "here " I opened it. "who is this?"

"mommy"

"and see" i put around her neck. "mommy is always with you."

"thank you" she gave me a hug

"your welcome sweetie" then went to play with some of her other stuff. i cleaned up the wrapping paper, i went into the kitchen then came back into the living room, and saw Ali looking at her open lockit. i got down to her level , and my hand on her back.

"whats wrong sweetie, you don't like it?"

"i like it, but theres mommy , wheres you,"

"what are you talking about?"

"theres a picture of mommy wheres the pictuer of you?"

"you want a pictuer of me."

"I want a pictuer of you on the other side."

"really?"

"yeah"

"okay, will get you it as soon as we can."

"okay" she said, and I kissed her on the top of her head.

The rest of ther day went great.

A few days later, mom, dad, taylor, and Nanny left, they stayed a few extar day to
see a couple games, and a few day later, i got the pictures that she wanted in her
lockit.

The beginning of February was Ali birthday. I was havingher party on my off day.
which was on her birthday. I was sitting up for her party . The guys and their wives, girlfriends, and their kids came.

"Daddy, i'm four" Ali yelled to me, When I was getting the food ready.

"I know, baby girl." I run back in with everybody else.

Two weeks later

We went shopping. I put my hood up on the my hoodie, as the cold sir run down my
back, and picked up Ali and put her in the the buggy.

"Dadd, what do we need?" Ali asked

"well, lets see" I said pulling the list on of my pocket. "we need milk, eggs, you
want apples, carrots"

"eww carrots"

"carrots are good for you" i said putting stuff into the buggy.

I went around the bend, when I was in that ill. I saw Kaylee's mom. I haven't seen
Kaylee's mom since the funel, her family never liked me. Also, Ali doesn't know them
but it hard to go somewhere anyone hates you.

I grabbed a few more things off the shelf , and put them in the buggy. I watched her
just staring at Ali as Ali was talking to me, but I didn't really hear her. until.

"Daddy, Daddy........Daddy" she said shaking my sleeve on my hoodie.

"what........sorry baby.....what do you want?" I asked

"cereal"

"oh, Okay, what kind do you want?"

"that kind" I picked it up, and put it in the buggy.
